Travel Capitalist Ventures invests its our own equity dollars, and those of our network of co-investors, and borrow money for the friendly investment in a company.

Our exclusive focus on travel, portfolio company resources, $800M in purchasing, supplier relationships and relationships maximize the value of our investments.

We work closely with the management teams of our portfolio companies and stay deeply involved in the operations of our businesses, providing them with substantial resources over an average investment period of five years or more. We approach our business and our investments as industrialists — and seek to invest in high quality companies that have strong business franchises, attractive growth prospects, leading market positions, and the ability to generate superior returns.

Travel companies looking to change the landscape of travel with an emphasis on the US, UK, Canadian, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, China, S Africa or Middle East Travel Markets.

 

Typical Investment

Investments of $1M USD to $5M USD. In select cases (companies that don't need follow-on investments, founders with multiple prior exists..) Travel Capitalist invests in early stage deals between $500k to $1M.

 

Beyond Funding

Our team of former travel executives act as a sounding board to portfolio company executives lending their prior expertise with ventures in emerging and establish travel markets.

 

Broad Focus

We invest in a broad range of travel companies including online and traditional (offline) travel agencies, travel aggregators, wholesalers, travel content, travel applications, mobile travel companies, social travel companies, air/car/hotel/cruise/tour companies, travel technology providers and service delivery companies.

Our scope currently reflects the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, India and China travel markets covering B2B, B2C, P2P, social travel, location based, mobile travel, corporate, leisure, agency and wholesale segments.
