Jean Francois Grollemund

Jean Francois is a highly accomplished senior executive with wide international finance experience. He was the Chief Merger Officer at Activision Blizzard (formerly Vivendi Games) where he delivered over $200M in synergies and managed the companies $8.5B USD merger. Prior to this he was the Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of Vivendi Games where he achieved record performance with annual revenues of $1.5B. He helped to shape the worldwide success of World of Warcraft by establishing major presence in Europe, Korea, China and other regions, and designing and solidifying business models in each region. In only 3 years, World of Warcraft has generated more than 10 million subscribers and company has grown to 4.200 employees worldwide. Jean-Francois has previous held EVP and VP positions around the world for Vivendi Book Publishing. He is a graduate of Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris and DESS Droit et Sciences Économiques  (University Panthéon Sorbonne). Honors include the Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite, France.

 

Abrar Ahmad

      

Mr. Ahmad brings 12 years of online travel experience across leisure, luxury, corporate and wholesale travel in 6 travel markets and 5 years management and technology consulting experience.

Mr. Ahmad grew a 5 page travel website in 2001 into a multi-million dollar a year fully integrated travel agency addressing leisure, luxury, wholesale and corporate travel markets with sales offices in the United States, United Kingdom and India. Key milestones included a first of its kind integrated offline & online travel CRM package, relationships with all leading travel technology providers, purchasing accounts with leading and niche travel wholesalers, pioneering the travel agent at home concept in India, establishing in-house and contracted call centers, conducting over 20 different types of travel marketing, hiring key staff and ultimate responsibility for growing a website into an international travel agency. Mr. Ahmad established executive level relationships with leading travel consolidators, airline representatives, tour companies and technology providers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and India. 

Prior experience span reporting to the Chief Information Officer for the $1B USD division of Aramark Corporationand roles in Technology & Management Consulting. 

Before his active travel schedule, Mr. Ahmad was a Corporate Member of the World Affairs Council and supporter of the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs. He is a member of the Trendspotting network, reviews restaurants for Zagat Guides and is a speaker on emerging travel trends and entrepreneurship. Mr. Ahmad formerly served on the Committee to Re-elect the District Attorney of Orange County and attended Harvard University with an Economics Concentration.

Mark Abrams

Mr. Abrams is a Partner with Travel Capitalist Ventures. He focuses on growing the Asian Pacific network of travel companies, venture firms and investors TCV works with in addition to providing strategic advice to advisory & portfolio companies.

He brings 15 years of travel industry experience spanning Management Consulting, Travel Technology Services and at Abacus Reservation Systems. Key milestones included managing a rapid growth travel technology company with clients in the United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

In addition to developing high availability B2B and B2C facing booking engines, VLDB fare databases, API and hosted white label solutions and real time links to all leading reservation systems, hotel providers, car rental agencies, travel content providers and activity vendors.

Mr. Abrams attended the Indian Institute of Technology.
